Websites

Do I pay before I see anything?

No. You get a free mockup of your site first. You only pay if you approve it, and you owe nothing if you don't.

What does the website build include?

A custom designed, mobile friendly website with your real business details, a contact form that sends requests to your inbox, and hosting and your domain set up for you. It includes up to two rounds of revisions before launch.

The $499 is a starting price. Larger sites with extra pages or features are quoted before any work begins.

What does the $29 a month cover?

Hosting, your security certificate, and your domain registration and renewals. It also covers uptime monitoring, a monthly check that your phone number, hours and contact form still work, and small updates when you ask, like new hours, photos or prices, usually within 3 business days.

New pages, redesigns, online booking or payments, logo design, and paid ads are quoted separately.

What do I need to give you?

Your business name, phone number, address or service area, hours, and the services you offer. If you have them, send a logo, photos, and real customer reviews. If you don't, we can still start, and anything in the mockup that's a placeholder gets replaced before launch.

What if I already have a website?

We can build a new one to replace it, and the free mockup lets you compare the two before you decide. If your current site is already doing its job, we'll tell you.

Can I make changes after it's live?

Yes. Small updates like hours, services, photos, reviews, and prices are covered by the $29 a month and are usually done within 3 business days.

New pages, redesigns, online booking, logo design, and ad or SEO work are quoted separately before any work starts.

How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds of revisions before launch are included. Anything beyond that, or new pages and features that weren't in the approved mockup, is quoted before any work starts.

Is the $499 refundable?

Not after you approve the mockup and pay, because the design work is already done. That's why the mockup comes first: you only pay for something you've already seen and approved.

Do you write the reviews on my site?

No. Reviews have to be real ones from your real customers. Any sample text or reviews in a mockup are placeholders, and they get replaced with your real content before launch.

Who owns my domain and my website?

You do. Your domain is registered in your business's name, and Dialback manages it for you while you're on the monthly plan. Once you've paid the build fee, you own the finished website.

If you ever leave, we send you the site files if you ask within 30 days, and help move your domain to an account you control.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no contract. You can cancel website hosting by text, email, or through your Stripe billing link, and it runs through the end of the month you've paid for. Text-back starts with a 7 day free trial, and if you cancel before it ends you won't be charged. Partial months aren't refunded.

How long does a website take to launch?

We aim to launch within 14 days of receiving your payment and your content, like your hours, logo and photos. If your content arrives late, the date moves back.

Missed-call text-back

How does missed-call text-back work?

You set your business phone to forward calls you don't answer to a number we give you. When one forwards, the caller automatically gets one text from your business, with wording you approve, so they know you'll get back to them.

It only texts people who called you, and it's never used for marketing. Anyone who replies STOP won't get another automated text.

How much does text-back cost, and is there a trial?

It's $59 a month with a 7 day free trial. There's no contract and no per-text fees for normal use. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep your own business number. We give you a separate Dialback number, and you set your phone to forward calls you don't answer to it.

Does it work with my phone and carrier?

Call forwarding is a standard feature on most phone plans, and we help you set it up and test it before you rely on it.

One limit: if the person who called is on a landline, they can't receive a text. Most callers are on cell phones, so this is rare.

Can I use it to send promotions?

No. It only texts people who called your business, and only about their call. That keeps you inside texting laws, and it's the same rule the phone carriers require.
